The Goodridge, Murray, Smith and Woods families regret to announce the passing of their father, grandfather, sibling, uncle, cousin and friend, Mr. Clarence Augustus Goodridge, Sr.


He was born unto the union of The Late Deacon Edmund John Goodridge and Mrs. Johnetta Victoria Goodridge.


This sad event occurred at the Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island on February 25th, 2023 after a protracted period of illness. He was predeceased by his father, Deacon Edmund John Goodridge; mother, Mrs. Johnetta Victoria Goodridge; brothers, John Goodridge, Jr., Gregory Goodridge, sisters Cleopatra Goodridge and Ruby A. Goodridge.


He leaves to mourn his demise and celebrate his life, and cherish his memories, Sara Smith, their four children: Alvet, Clarence, Jr. Charlene, Cherylene, grandchildren, siblings, William (Vireder), Eliza (Joseph), Bellie, and Edwin, his only surviving uncle Richmond Goodridge, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
